Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Okanagan Good Food Inc. in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures. The successful candidate will also be responsible for estimating ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and addressing customers' complaints or concerns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Establish work schedules
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Work under pressure
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Attention to detail
Working Conditions:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.
