Resource Supervisor

Canadian Blood Services is seeking a Regular full-time Resource Supervisor to join our dynamic Collections Operations West team.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise the Resource Support Staff for Supply Chain, Collections, Logistics, Production, and Distribution to ensure effective and efficient use of resources in a positive working environment.
- Manage, execute, and evaluate support activities to ensure effective and efficient people and process management in areas such as problem-solving processes, coaching, grievances, attendance awareness management, performance management, change management, and identifying and providing training.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate changes to processes to improve accuracy, efficiencies, and cost-effectiveness of daily operations.
- Maintain and update written work processes of clerical office procedures, review clerical/administrative tasks related to clinic planning and supply chain operations, and produce reports on statistics, workload, business needs, etc.
- Oversee scheduling and timekeeping for Collections, Logistics, Production, and Distribution in the region and ensure accurate and timely entries for SAP, ESS/AMSR, and Payroll.
- Support national and regional programs, chair meetings, participate in working groups, and provide backup to the Resources Manager during absences and for LERT (local emergency response team).
- Post-secondary level education in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution is required, preferably the completion of a degree or certificate program in Office Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity, preferably in a regulated and unionized environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English are essential, with French communication skills being an asset.
- Technical skills including MS Word, Excel, Visio, SharePoint, Outlook, PowerPoint, and ability to troubleshoot user technical problems for the Resource Team.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution abilities, along with interpersonal skills to work with staff and management at all levels.
- Strong analytical abilities, coupled with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work with management at all levels.
- Initiative and ability to work independently and as a team in a rapid-changing environment.
- Team building skills, including constructive conflict resolution.

This role will work in a hybrid environment with requirements to be onsite at the Canadian Blood Services Winnipeg location 50% of the time, Monday to Friday, 8-4, with some flexibility. Travel will be required quarterly within Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
