Group Care Placement Resources Supervisor

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a unique blend of leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. As a Group Care Placement Resources Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the licensing and placement team, working closely with group home operators, and ensuring the best interests of children are served.
Key Responsibilities:- Understand referrals, the needs of children, and the challenges in providing services
- Support caregivers and organizations, funding and licensing requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement solutions that meet the needs of children
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Post-secondary degree in Social Sciences and/or relevant experience working with child and family service agencies
- Leadership experience, including supervising staff in a team environment
- Experience building relationships with Indigenous peoples and implementing the principles of reconciliation
- Ability to apply and interpret legislation and policies
- Knowledge of child and family services and programs relevant to a youth's placement
