About the Job

This role is for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Scientist in Biologics Development to join our team at the National Research Council Canada.

As a key member of our research group, you will be working on the development of analytical assays for the characterization of biologics-based therapeutics.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development of analytical assays for biologics characterization
  • Working with mammalian cell culture for use in cell-based assays
  • Characterizing viral vectors and other biologics-based therapeutics
  • Performing ELISAs and functional assays such as SPR, BLI, and enzyme kinetics

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Virology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, or relevant related discipline
  • Experience in mammalian cell culture, ELISAs, and functional assays
  • Working knowledge of biophysical techniques such as chromatography, AUC, and DLS
