Bioanalytical Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Bioanalytical Scientist to join our team at Pharmascience Inc. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for performing quantitative analysis of drug molecules in biological matrices for pharmacokinetic, bioequivalence, and bioavailability studies.

• Regulated Bioanalysis: Independently perform quantitative analysis of drug molecules in biological matrices for pharmacokinetic, bioequivalence, and bioavailability studies.
• Method Validation: Assist in method development and validation of LC/MS bioanalytical methods for protein precipitation, liquid-liquid extraction, and solid-phase extraction.
• Data Processing: Have a basic understanding of integration parameters and know when and how to re-inject samples or re-integrate sample chromatograms.
• Data Reporting: Ability to compile data.
• Instrumentation: Can set up and start routine analyses independently, including familiarity with basic HPLC and MS troubleshooting procedures.
• Training: Complete all specified training modules for sample extraction and cleaning; optimization of liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry conditions; data review and report writing.
• Document Preparation: Review and update Biolab SOP and forms assignments.

• Demonstrates proficiency in the use of required computer systems and laboratory instruments.
• Demonstrates understanding of laboratory documentation requirements.
• Minimum 2 years experience in regulated bioanalysis or other relevant experience.
• Minimum B.A./B.S. degree in chemistry or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

• Preferred: Bachelor or better in Biochemistry or related field.
