Industrial Millwright Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary:
The Industrial Millwright Maintenance Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production and quality processes by maintaining and repairing industrial machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks, including inspections, lubrication, and adjustments, to prevent equipment failures and downtime.
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, using precision measuring and testing instruments to diagnose issues.
- Remove and replace defective parts, using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools, and examining form and texture of parts.
- Adjust and calibrate equipment to ensure proper functioning and performance.
- Fabricate repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
- Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including parts and materials used, and order or create requisitions for new parts and materials as necessary.
- Assist with planning and closing the loop on work orders in Maximo.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Industrial Mechanic License 433A (Red Seal Certificate of Qualifications)
- Full set of metric standard tools
- Experience with mechanical devices, pneumatic controls, and welding/cutting
- At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Able to read mechanical drawings
- Able to work shifts, including extended hours and weekends
- Interpersonal, problem-solving, and trouble-shooting skills
- Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds on a routine basis
- Able to walk and/or stand 70-90% of the shift
- Able to work at heights and in confined spaces
