Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our maintenance team at Emterra Group. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment, troubleshooting, and performing repairs and preventive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment, including conveyor systems, motors, hydraulic units, pneumatic units, and pumps.
  • Read and interpret drawings and schematics, and have knowledge of PLC, control systems, and automated programming.
  • Respond to routine breakdowns and repair issues, and ensure high plant reliability through quality routine machine and plant maintenance.
  • Optimize production machine performance through effective and consistent setting.
  • Deliver maintenance KPIs to ensure visibility of maintenance performance and required improvement.

Requirements:

  • Fully licensed Journeyperson - A valid Industrial Mechanic/Millwright trade certificate for the province of Ontario (433A).
  • 4 or more years of industrial experience preferred.
  • Mechanical background with a drive to further develop and learn, with a safety-first and resilient attitude to multi-task and effectively execute tasks.
  • Strong communication skills to work with internal customers and as part of a team.
  • Ability to problem-solve and work in a fast-paced environment.
