About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled software engineer to join our development team, focusing on the creation of high-performance medical device software. The ideal candidate will have a strong computer science background and experience in object-oriented programming, embedded systems, and medical device connectivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and release innovative high-performance medical device software.
- Solve complex problems and strive for engineering excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and bring forward the best solutions.
- Continuously improve process and work methodologies.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience with a BS degree.
- 0-4 years of relevant work experience with an MS degree.
- Experience in object-oriented programming.
- Experience with embedded systems and medical device connectivity.
- A strong CS background, preferably BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Expertise in C++, Linux.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to the target audience.
- In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong experience with designing and implementing medical device software.
- Strong experience with development of network protocols (TCP/IP, OpenSSL).
