Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Counseling and Therapy Specialist to join our team at Alberta Health Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive counseling and therapy services to individuals and groups, helping them achieve more effective personal, social, and vocational development and adjustment.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in psychology and experience working in a health care institution, facility, or clinic. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to apply psychological theory and principles regarding behavior and mental processes, are essential for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions
  • Counsel clients on personal, social, and vocational development and adjustment
  • Administer standard psychological tests for assessment and interpret results
  • Plan intervention programs to address client needs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
