Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Counselling Therapist to join our team at Alberta Health Services.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position with 35 hours of work per week. As a Counselling Therapist, you will provide therapy and counselling services to individuals and groups to help them achieve more effective personal, social, and vocational development and adjustment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide therapy sessions to clients in a clinical setting
  • Counsel individuals and groups to identify and address mental health concerns
  • Apply psychological theory and principles to inform treatment plans
  • Administer standard psychological tests for assessment and interpretation
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychology or a related field
  • Provincial or territorial Psychologist's Certificate of Registration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
