About the Role

This senior-level accounting position involves preparing financial statements, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling accounts. The ideal candidate will have experience with MS Excel, QuickBooks, and spreadsheet software, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare cheques for payroll, calculate fixed assets, and maintain financial records using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Post journal entries, prepare tax returns, and reconcile accounts on a regular basis.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including balance sheets and income statements.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent education.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, procedures, and regulations.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work independently, but also be a team player who can effectively communicate with colleagues and management.

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
