About This Role

Black & McDonald Limited is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our Southern Ontario Facilities Management Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing client-led projects of various sizes and values, as well as overseeing our Asset Life Cycle Planning Tool.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with client project managers to ensure successful project execution
  • Plan and execute projects within agreed timelines and budgets
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers to enhance competitiveness
  • Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, and budgets
  • Assist with other Black & McDonald projects as needed
  • Manage the Asset Life Cycle Planning Tool to ensure accurate asset condition and replacement costs
  • Contribute to client annual capital expenditure forecasting
  • Supervise subcontractors and ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements

Requirements

  • University degree in electrical or mechanical disciplines (an advantage)
  • College diploma or related education with 5-10 years of experience in facilities management
  • PMP designation (considered an advantage)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, with 3 years of project management experience
