Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Specialist to join our team at BGC Okanagan. This rewarding role involves providing home-based services to infants with or at risk of developmental delay and disability, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide parenting skills training to support the development of infants and young children
  • Conduct regular home visits to assess infant progress and provide support to families
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community agencies and professionals to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Refer clients to relevant resources and provide education on available options
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to child development
  • Certificate in Infant Development and Supported Child Development
  • At least one year of experience working with infants and young children and their families
  • Possession of a valid Class 5 BC Driver's license and reliable vehicle with liability insurance
