Reports to: Human Resources Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Support supervisors with facility & corporate training initiatives.
- Provide support for transfers, layoffs, disciplinary actions, payroll, and employee relations related matters.
- Assist with drafting and preparing employment contracts, offers, agreements, memorandums, and other correspondence as required.
- Provide support and training assistance to supervisors and employees on Human Resources processes and policies.
- Respond to employee inquiries and concerns and take steps to resolve issues.
- Review and update policies and procedures.
- Provide HR administrative support customer and recertification audits.
- Coordinate employee engagement programs such as team-building days, charity events, staff events and wellness activities and/or topics.
- Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc.
- Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- University degree or College diploma in Human Resources or related field
- 1+ years of experience in similar role
- Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse, logistics company is an asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Interpersonal skills to collaborate with varying departments
- Proficient using MS Office
- Ability to maintain discretion & confidentiality
