Responsibilities:- Welcome and seat guests, providing them with menus and making recommendations.
- Manage reservations, answer phone calls, and address customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception, dining, and server station areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Attend to guests with special needs, such as children, elderly, or food allergies, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
- Verify customers' identification and confirm their age to ensure compliance with liquor laws.
- Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, to bar and restaurant patrons.
- Take orders and input them into our Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Check the quality of final servings and resolve any issues with the kitchen staff, if necessary.
- Follow up with guests to ensure a positive dining experience and address any concerns.
- Notify your supervisor of any issues that need attention or improvement for future guests.
- Deliver checks, accept payments, and maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Collaborate with other staff members as a team, maintaining open communication and a positive work environment.
- Restock and replenish bar and server areas, ensuring a seamless service experience.
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations, as well as company procedures, to maintain a high level of quality and safety.
- Check guests in and out of the resort, receive payments, answer questions, and make inquiries on the reservation system.
- Previous experience as a Server, with a willingness to learn and grow with our team.
- Adherence to company policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized bar area, stocked and ready for service.
- Knowledge or interest in learning to mix, garnish, and serve drinks, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Cash handling and balancing skills, as well as experience with POS systems.
- Friendly and positive attitude, with demonstrated experience in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- A high school diploma, with food safety or hospitality training an asset.
- Smart Serve Certification and Worker Health and Safety Awareness.
