We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team at Star Kitchen Cabinets Ltd. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Coordinating seminars, conferences, and other events to ensure smooth logistics and execution;
  • Providing training to other staff members on various topics;
  • Taking minutes during meetings, seminars, and conferences to document key points and action items;
  • Establishing and maintaining office procedures and routines to optimize efficiency;
  • Scheduling appointments and confirming meeting times with colleagues and clients;
  • Answering phone calls, relaying messages, and responding to electronic inquiries in a timely manner;
  • Compiling data, statistics, and other information as required by management or team leads;
  • Procuring office supplies and managing inventory levels to avoid stockouts;
  • Greeting visitors and directing them to the relevant contact or service area;
  • Maintaining manual and computerized filing systems, including setting up and updating databases and spreadsheets.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • No more than 1 year of experience in an administrative position;
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and other Microsoft Office applications;
  • Knowledge of electronic schedulers and other digital tools;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely;
  • Judgement and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions;
  • Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
