Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Flooring Sales Professional to join our team at Impressive Floors. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong relationships with customers, and providing exceptional customer service.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have 4 years of sales experience within the flooring industry, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, navigating multiple priorities, and making sound judgments to drive business results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve individual and team sales targets;
  • Built strong relationships with existing and potential customers through regular proactive contact and follow-up;
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and assess their needs;
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information to customers using the right methods/tools;
  • Maintain records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents;
  • Ensure the requirements of each project are successfully executed by the installation team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 3-4 years of sales experience within the flooring industry;
  • Experience working in a sales-driven environment;
  • A willingness to grow and advance career in sales;
  • Strong communication and customer service skills;
  • A genuine passion for helping customers and store representatives;
  • The ability to genuinely listen to customers, formulating a personalized response to their needs;
  • The curiosity to understand how things work with the intention of improving service;
  • Recognize the importance of excellent professional communication in the workplace;
  • Flexibility to work in a diverse culture;
  • A knack for problem-solving with keen attention to detail;
  • The ability to comfortably navigate hurdles using critical thinking and good judgment;
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively;
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office;
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems or equivalent.

Compensation and Benefits:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $50,000-$60,000 per year, plus commission pay and various benefits including automobile allowance, dental care, extended health care, paid time off, and store discount.

Work Location and Schedule:

This is a full-time position requiring the ability to work on the road, Monday to Friday, with weekends as needed.
