We are seeking an exceptional Senior Manager to join our rapidly growing Accounting Advisory team in London. The team provides specialist accounting advice across various areas, working closely with Transaction Services, Tax, and Valuations. This opportunity allows the individual to extend the depth and breadth of our Accounting Advisory service offering and contribute to the team's future growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Client Contact: Ensure clients receive high-quality, efficient, and proactive service, exceeding expectations throughout the year.
  • Technical: Support project delivery, potentially leading smaller projects focusing on technical accounting applications within cross-functional teams. Key tasks include:
    • Assessing complex or judgemental accounting issues, such as revenue recognition, financial instruments, share-based payments, and tax accounting.
    • Evaluating the impact of recently adopted and new accounting standards.
    • Supporting transaction teams with GAAP conversions and M&A activity, including IFRS 3 analysis and implications of group reorganisations.
    • Preparing complex consolidation and cash flow models.
    • Supporting clients with front-end narrative reporting and financial statements disclosures.
    • Developing and delivering accounting training to clients.
    • Familiarity with internal procedures manual and providing technical advice/support to deliver consistently high-quality output.
  • Training and Development: Supervise and coach junior team members, provide feedback through regular communication, and stay updated on relevant training options.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Qualified accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA or equivalent) with strong technical accounting experience, preferably in IFRS, UK GAAP, and UK Companies Act. Experience with recent developments in accounting, coaching, and mentoring junior team members is essential. A problem-solving attitude, excellent communication skills, and ability to work with listed companies and large corporates are desirable.
