About the RoleAs a Senior Human Resources Consultant, you will be a strategic leadership and human resources consultant to executives, senior leaders, and their teams for one of Canada's largest and fastest-growing financial services companies. You will provide professional strategic coaching and human resources guidance and advice to our business partners, considering market best practices, strategic and organizational context, while being aligned with the laws, regulations, and organizational values.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic coaching and human resources guidance and advice to business partners
- Actively participate in executive and management committees of designated business partners
- Collaborate and work with business partners on different HR cycles, including employee engagement action plans, succession planning, talent management strategies, and development of top talent and experts
- Participate in regional or national projects, play a key role in our ongoing transformation and deployment of corporate initiatives and programs
- Lead, develop, and facilitate training workshops, round tables, and information sessions for managers and/or employees to meet business needs
- Contribute to the improvement of HR processes and collaborate with all members of the National HR Team on various types of strategic HR projects
- University degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resource Management
- Minimum 8-10 years of related experience as a Senior HR Consultant/HR Business Partner in a similar and complex work environment (large corporate company non-union environment)
- CHRP designation is an asset
- Solid knowledge in all areas of human resources, including performance management and employee relations, change management, engagement, compensation, organizational development, succession planning, and talent management
- A flexible, agile, and resilient approach to working in a dynamic ever-changing organizational environment, with a high tolerance for ambiguity and motivation to bring clarity and confidence
- Exceptional influencing, communication, and relationship-building skills with all levels of management
- Strong planning and project management skills, rigor, analytical, and synthesis skills
- Bilingualism (French and English) - Need to interact on a regular basis with an English-speaking clientele and colleagues across the country
