About the Role

Brandt Developments Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Building Design and Facilities Management group in Regina, Saskatchewan. As a Facilities Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team in delivering high-quality building solutions for the Brandt Group of Companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate small building projects, develop scope documents, estimates, and construction drawings, and oversee the implementation process.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in managing corporate assets, including furniture and system walls, and work with key suppliers to ensure efficient inventory management.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date building records, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Tenant Support: Coordinate tenant moves and provide support to Facility Managers throughout Canada.
  • Cost Estimation: Prepare cost estimates, tender contract documents, and Site Visit Reports to ensure accurate project costing.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Brandt's internal building design team to deliver exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders and maintain/upgrade facilities to Brandt's corporate standard.
  • Contract Administration: Support the development of construction documents, coordinate with design and engineering disciplines, contractors, project management, and constructors, and administer contracts to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections and prepare contract administration reports to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Design Standards: Assist in reviewing, evaluating, and improving upon current Brandt design standards, drafting, details, and specifications as required.
  • Operational Excellence: Focus on operational excellence and long-term sustainability, ensuring the efficient delivery of projects.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Facility Coordinators, Architectural Technologists, Designers, and candidates with experience in Construction, Interior Design, and/or Property Management.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of AutoCAD computer drafting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, interpersonal and communications skills, time-management, positive hard-working attitude, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
