Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Meridian Inn & Suites Ltd. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping staff and ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of our facilities.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals to ensure that our staff are meeting their performance goals.
  • Operations and Maintenance
    • Coordinate the inspection of assigned areas to ensure that our facilities are clean and well-maintained.
    • Supervise the maintenance and repair services to ensure that our facilities are in good working order.
    • Maintain financial records and inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
  • Guest Services
    • Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out to maintain a clean and safe environment for our guests.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff to ensure that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure that our housekeeping staff are meeting their performance goals.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or facilities management role.
  • Language
    • English language proficiency.
Working Conditions
  • 40 hours per week.
