Job Summary: BWX Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Nuclear Inspector Specialist to join our team in Cambridge, ON, CA. As a leading supplier of innovative, high-quality nuclear components and services, we cater to a worldwide customer base.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform non-destructive examinations (NDE) to ensure the quality and integrity of nuclear components.
  • Read and interpret documentation, including drawings and operating procedures.
  • Create inspection reports, maintain and file documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with internal team members and customer representatives.
  • Work in a safe manner, complying with all health, safety and environmental guidelines/regulations.
  • Understand and adhere to quality requirements and productivity expectations.

Requirements:

  • Proven commitment to workplace safety.
  • Must possess either MT CGSB-2 or PT CGSB-2 plus 2 of the following: CEDO UT CGSB-1 RT CGSB-1 2 years as a Fabrication/Machining inspector within BWX Technologies, Inc.; 5 years as Fabrication/Machine inspector with documented evidence from an external company or 5 years Fitting/Welding experience within BWX Technologies, Inc.; Certified Weld Inspector (AWS-CWI or CWB2).
  • Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment or in nuclear power-related industry.
  • Commitment to quality and the ability to work as a positive, effective team member.
  • Proficient with computer software.
  • Availability to work any of the following shifts: Days: 6:00 am to 4:00 pm. Nights: 4:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. Weekends (33 hrs paid 40 hrs)
