We are seeking highly skilled Nuclear Welding Specialists to join our production team at our facility in Cambridge, ON, CA.
The successful candidate will work with us to perform various manual welding tasks on Company products, adhering to quality standards and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret route sheets, drawings, and weld procedure specifications.
- Plan and organize the welding process, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and shop foremen.
- Perform basic fitting operations to pre-established layouts.
- Work safely, demonstrating good workmanship and practices.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in manual welding in a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Successful completion of an advanced welding program.
- Intermediate-level understanding of blueprint reading.
- Ability to perform manual welding and repairs to RT UT quality standards.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and in awkward positions.
- Ability to pass fit-testing for the wearing of a respirator, if required.
Salary Information: The hourly rate of pay for this position is $38.58 (fully qualified). Progression through learner stages at lower rates is expected.
