About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Uptown Social House. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Determine the size of food portions and costs, requisition food and kitchen supplies, and prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Supply Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively as a team player to ensure seamless service and high-quality food.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, team player, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
