Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Preparation Specialist to join our team at Hakka Fresh. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as managing kitchen operations and supervising kitchen staff and helpers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality standards and presentation.
  • Kitchen Operations Management: Manage kitchen operations, including planning menus, estimating food requirements, and requisitioning food and kitchen supplies.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and training on food preparation, cooking, and handling.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use and minimizing waste.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
