About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at BAB Korean Food & BBQ. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Operations Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train kitchen staff and helpers to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role or equivalent experience.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with a focus on Korean cuisine.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods and repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, initiative, organized, reliability, team player, and time management skills.
