Product Brand Strategist

Made by Gather, a B2B portfolio of small kitchen appliance brands, is seeking a Product Brand Strategist to join the Product Branding team. Reporting to the Director of Brand Product Management, you will be an experienced consumer-centric product strategist with knowledge of the small kitchen appliance market.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify consumer and sales trends for opportunities to expand assortments into new innovative white space, considering the brand's market position.
  • Utilize consumer insights to craft strategies for new product development and product positioning in the marketplace.
  • Participate in Seasonal Strategy meetings to gather information for presenting hindsight, insights, and opportunities for seasonal innovations.
  • Partner with the Director and Product, Engineering teams on new product development initiatives and brief these teams and Marketing to kick off concepting.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Brand leads to ensure consistency of messaging across packaging, in-store signage/POPs, e-comm, and other marketing assets.
  • Work with the creative team and copywriter to create and/or review briefs to ensure alignment with product marketing and messaging strategy.
  • Translate consumer and customer (retailer) objectives into compelling product marketing campaigns, working closely with branding and commercial marketing counterparts.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience working within the consumer goods industry, preferably small kitchen appliances or other consumer electrics.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
  • Proven track record of building and fostering strong relationships with internal and external teams to optimize growth.
  • Self-starter with excellent verbal and written presentation skills.
  • Ability to juggle many priorities while maintaining excellent attention to detail and a positive, collaborative attitude.
