Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist to join our team in Vancouver. As a Technical Specialist, you will play a key support role for customers of our fleet management and mine production system, Micromine Pitram.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to licence holders via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Conduct training sessions with clients and in-house staff on the use of Micromine Pitram.
  • Assist with the implementation of Micromine Pitram across the Americas and globally.
  • Ensure that enhancement requests, bugs, and development issues are raised and resolved.
  • Test new versions and products to ensure improved functionality.
  • Support the Sales team during technical demonstrations and other events.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in help desk, technical support, or technical training roles.
  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Mechatronics, Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of networking and database technologies, including SQL and Oracle.
  • Experience conducting client trainings.
  • Strong customer relationship building skills and experience.
  • Ability to travel nationally or internationally for Micromine Pitram implementations (estimated 20-25% of the year).
  • Previous exposure to the mining sector is preferred.
  • Must be based in Greater Vancouver.
