Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement talent strategies to meet current and future organizational needs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Design and oversee workforce planning approaches, including the development of methodologies, workflows, processes, policies, and tools.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to create innovative solutions for talent acquisition and workforce planning, ensuring human capital retention.
  • Maintain expertise in talent market trends, providing insights to support strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and manage key performance indicators, tracking hiring success and adjusting plans to respond to evolving organizational needs.
  • Work closely with HR and operational leaders to optimize talent acquisition processes, ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of leadership experience, with specific experience in recruitment/talent acquisition preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in an unionized setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ATS, and HRIS systems.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives.
  • Experience leading career fairs and/or campus initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation, including the Employment Standards Act, WSIB, Human Rights Code, AODA, Labour Relations Act, and Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Education:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related discipline.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience in a Hospital or Healthcare environment.
