Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Team Member to join our team at SUBWAY. As a key member of our restaurant staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
    • Ensure all dishes, glasses, and utensils are washed and sanitized
    • Keep the kitchen and dining area clean and organized
  • Food Preparation
    • Prepare and cook food to order
    • Operate a cash register and process customer transactions
    • Prepare and package take-out orders
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
    • Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
    • Upsell and promote menu items and promotions
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Receive and stock inventory and supplies
    • Monitor and maintain inventory levels
    • Report any inventory discrepancies or issues to management
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management
    • Participate in training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or customer service role
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling
    • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
