Job Description:

As a Research Security Data Analyst at the University of Waterloo, you will play a critical role in gathering and analyzing empirical information from open-sourced materials to support the research security team. This position requires a strong understanding of research security policies and procedures, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.

  1. Provide open-sourced information and analysis to support various research projects.
  2. Analytically evaluate research requests for risk assessment and security risk mitigation.
  3. Work with advanced analytics software to produce empirical material and risk assessments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, administration, or international relations.
  • Extensive project management skills and experience in analytical assessment.
  • Strong knowledge of research security policies and procedures.
