Senior Leader for Academic Excellence in the Faculty of Social and Community Services

**About the Opportunity**
Humber College invites applications for the position of Senior Dean in the Faculty of Social and Community Services, a leading institution in post-secondary education.
The ideal candidate will possess a track record of success in leading collaborative, multi-disciplinary environments, preferably in the College sector, with a focus on developing partnerships and alliances with stakeholders. A champion for social justice and inclusive work and learning environments, the successful candidate will be a skilled relationship builder, connecting ideas and individuals to advance the success of the College and society.
The Senior Dean will report to the Senior Vice President Academic and provide strategic and operational leadership over the administrative and academic priorities of the Faculty. They will contribute to the further development of the Faculty, its programs, industry partnerships, research, student success, and the teaching and learning environment.
The successful candidate will have a post-graduate degree in a related field, with a preference for a PhD achieved or in progress. They will have experience in strategic planning, financial planning and management, external and government relations, fundraising, and individual and organizational development. A demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, particularly Indigenous ways of being, knowing, and doing, is essential.
The Faculty of Social and Community Services offers specialized training across relevant fields in social services and criminal justice, with a focus on student-centered learning and community engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring academic excellence, promoting teaching, learning, and student success, and fostering a vibrant and inclusive community within the Faculty and campus.
