Operations Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at SBS Expedited Services Ltd. As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our facility, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow, and providing guidance and support to our team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Operational Plans: Create and execute plans to prioritize tasks, optimize workflows, and improve productivity.
  • Train and Develop Team Members: Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and mentoring to ensure team members have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Manage and Coordinate Work: Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of projects and tasks.
  • Maintain a Safe and Healthy Work Environment: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and implement measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Communicate Effectively: Collaborate with team members, management, and external stakeholders to ensure clear and effective communication.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Supervision: 5-10 people.
