Restaurant Shift Manager

Pita Pit Blue Mountain is seeking a skilled Restaurant Shift Manager to oversee the daily operations of our food preparation team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.
Key Responsibilities- Establish efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food preparation staff to ensure that orders are fulfilled promptly and to a high standard.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements to ensure that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Address customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner to maintain a positive reputation for our restaurant.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage to inform our purchasing and inventory decisions.
- Prepare and submit reports to management to ensure that we are meeting our targets and goals.
- 5-10 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and customers.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
