Job Title: Restaurant Shift Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Shift Manager to join our team at Wendy's Restaurant. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff, including training in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure quality control standards are met.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Establish work schedules and prepare and submit reports.
Requirements:
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Work Environment: Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a team environment.
