Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Logistics: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any issues that may arise during transportation.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver's license (Class 1 or A).
Work Environment

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be working on the road, often away from home for extended periods. You will be required to handle heavy loads, work in physically demanding conditions, and sit for long periods.
