Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Thar Trucking Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance and emergency roadside repairs
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch and record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid passport and driver's validity licence check
  • Driving record check (abstract) and drug test
Work Environment:

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, often working long hours and traveling across the country. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team, communicating effectively with dispatch and other drivers.
