Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at 1987174 Alberta Ltd. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, working as part of a two-person team or convoy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive and Maintain Vehicles: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition and performing regular inspections.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods safely and efficiently, adhering to company procedures and regulations.
  • Record and Maintain Logs: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, maintaining accurate and detailed logs.
  • Perform Pre-Trip, En Route, and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
Requirements:
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid Class 1 or A driver's license.
