Job Description

As a Patient Care Coordinator at our Dartmouth location, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth experience for our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Answering telephone calls, greeting patients and visitors upon arrival, and providing excellent customer service for all questions or concerns.
  • Coordinating a detailed and accurate intake of information on the patient's first visit to the clinic and throughout their treatment plan.
  • Assisting patients with completing paperwork at the clinic to avoid errors and inaccurate information.
  • Coordinating scheduling of patient appointments and maintaining the patient's medical record.
  • Collecting payment at the time of service.
  • Tracking coverage for all funding streams to ensure approval.
  • Completing data entry and billing.
  • Coordinating courier packages (in or outgoing) and processing incoming and outgoing emails, mail and faxes.
  • Providing administrative support to the Care Coordinator Manager and Clinic Director.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A high school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
  • Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette.
  • A high degree of organizational and multi-tasking skills in a busy and fast-paced work environment, preferably with 1-3 years of work experience in a private clinic setting.
  • New graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer savvy and data entry skills in a physiotherapy clinic setting will be an asset.
