About the Job

We are seeking a qualified Caregiving Professional to join our team at Tideview Terrace. This is a permanent position, and as a key member of our care staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and support.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality caregiving services to residents in a rural setting. This includes performing various tasks related to patient care and comfort, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming patients. You will also be expected to maintain a safe and clean environment, ensuring the well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized care and attention to residents, responding to their physical and emotional needs
  • Assist with daily living activities, including toileting, feeding, and transferring patients
  • Maintain accurate records of resident care, adhering to facility policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A valid Continuing Care Assistant Certification (CCAC)
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Experience working in a long-term care or geriatric setting an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
