Salumi & Formaggi Team Lead - Eataly North America

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salumi & Formaggi Lead to join our team at Eataly North America. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our Italian Specialty Foods department.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales and efficiency goals.
- Inventory Management: Manage stock levels, make key decisions about stock control, and place orders as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Order Fulfillment: Communicate with our main production kitchen and restaurants to ensure that all orders are fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner.
- Production Scheduling: Manage production schedules to achieve maximum efficiency and ensure that all products are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the department consistently meets quality, health, and safety standards.
- Technical Support: Communicate any technical or mechanical issues to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and take action to increase efficiency and profitability.
- Customer Service: Assist guests with cheese selection and share knowledge of products to enhance the customer experience.
- Food Preparation: Weigh, label, and package products, and complete food preparation in a timely and efficient manner.
- Experience: 2+ years of retail supervisory or management experience, preferably in a food production or specialty foods environment.
- Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of Italian cheeses and salumi, as well as financial analysis skills.
- Skills: Excellent communication, time management, and relationship-building skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Availability: Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting.
