Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Tj's Pizza Moosomin. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and heat simple food items, including take-out food and salads
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
- Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, and storage areas
- Handle and store cleaning products, and receive, unpack, and store supplies
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sharpen kitchen knives
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, and wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Experience an asset, but not necessary
- Permanent position, 40 hours per week
- English language proficiency required
