Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation, heating, and finishing of simple food items, including take-out food packaging.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and handle and store cleaning products.
- General Maintenance: Perform tasks such as sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, as well as sharpening kitchen knives.
- Food Handling: Handle and store foodstuffs, including vegetables and fruit, and assist with food preparation tasks.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
- Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
