Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Kitchen Helper to join our team at Tj's Pizza Moosomin. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, including take-out food, to a high standard.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that all areas are kept clean and tidy.
- Equipment Maintenance: Sharpen kitchen knives and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- General Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, and perform other general maintenance tasks as required.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
- Language: English language proficiency required.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
