About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Operations Director to lead our regional operations and drive continuous improvement across all areas of our organization. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service for our customers, maintaining product availability, and meeting their expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence: Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and improve quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to a team of direct reports from Supply Chain, R&D, Quality, and Production, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
- Safety and Quality: Lead by example in upholding safety and quality as top priorities throughout operations, implementing policies and procedures to protect our employees and facilities.
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement, fostering innovation and creativity among your team members.
Requirements:
- Industry Experience: 8-10 years of work experience in a similar role, preferably within the food production industry.
- Education: Degree in engineering or a related field, equipping you with the technical expertise needed for success.
- Leadership Excellence: Proven track record of leadership and achievement, with a focus on driving results and delivering operational excellence.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with SAP and a strong understanding of production, quality, and EHS standards.
- Growth Mindset: Keen interest in expanding your responsibilities and making a positive impact on our organization.
