Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Hand Hygiene Audit Student. As a key member of our Infection Prevention and Control department, you will play a vital role in promoting patient safety and preventing the transmission of infection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct hand hygiene audit observations, including electronic data collection
  • Provide education to staff on hand hygiene practices
  • Engage staff in the hand hygiene process through questions, discussions, and interactive demonstrations
  • Identify staff learning needs and assess barriers to effective hand hygiene practice
  • Assist in hand hygiene promotional activities and other Infection Prevention and Control initiatives
Requirements
  • Current undergraduate student in a program with completion of at least one year of university education
  • Valid class 5 B.C. driver's license
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office and database applications
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work independently
