Cybersecurity Network Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Network Specialist to join our team at Value Mobile. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations.
Your primary focus will be on evaluating and installing computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software. You will also provide problem-solving services to network users, implement data, software, and hardware security procedures, and perform routine network start-up and close-down activities.
Additionally, you will set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance. You will also modify Web pages, applets, and scripts, research and apply meta-data to Websites, and register Websites with search engines.
In this role, you will respond to requests for help and information from Website visitors and designers, perform Web-server backup and recovery operations, and supervise technical staff.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this position, you must have a strong background in computer and technology knowledge, including device drivers, networking software, networking hardware, networking security, Internet, servers, desktop applications, security software, and database software.
You should also possess excellent oral communication skills, be accurate, client-focused, efficient in interpersonal skills, organized, and a team player.
A bachelor's degree and Network+ Certification are preferred qualifications for this role.
