Job Title: Network Infrastructure Specialist
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at CODEPAPER TECHNOLOGIES INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating access and use of computer networks, installing software, and maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate access and use of computer networks
- Install software
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer the use of LANs, WANs, mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment
- Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade web server hardware and software
- Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software
- Provide problem-solving services to network users
- Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures
- Perform routine network start-up and close-down and maintain control records
- Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
- Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet
- Implement network traffic and security monitoring software and optimize server performance
- Research and apply meta-data to Websites and register Websites with search engines
- Respond to requests for help and information from Website visitors and Website designers
- Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations
Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, and attention to detail.
Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, initiative, organized, team player, and dedication.
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year, permanent position, 32 hours per week, and English as the primary language of work.
