At Cellular Point, we are seeking a skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering our local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking software, hardware, and security. You will be responsible for evaluating and installing computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software, as well as providing problem-solving services to network users.

In this role, you will also be responsible for implementing data, software, and hardware security procedures, performing routine network start up and close down, and maintaining control records. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing data backups and disaster recovery operations, setting up local area networks and connections to the Internet, and implementing network traffic and security monitoring software.

As a Network Infrastructure Specialist, you will work closely with our technical staff to ensure the smooth operation of our network infrastructure. You will be responsible for supervising technical staff and ensuring that all network-related tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong background in networking software, hardware, and security
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
