Responsibilities

As a Cybersecurity Network Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • Monitoring the performance of computer systems and networks, ensuring they are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Troubleshooting, maintaining, and upgrading web server hardware and software.
  • Evaluating and installing computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.
  • Providing problem-solving services to network users, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively.
  • Implementing data, software, and hardware security procedures to protect against cyber threats.
  • Performing routine network start-up and close-down procedures, maintaining control records, and performing data backups and disaster recovery operations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a accounting firm or related industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of computer systems, networks, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
